During my recent visit to Newcastle, I took the opportunity to visit Bamburgh Castle. For all the times I've been to the North East of England I can't believe this was my first visit to this iconic location on the Northumbrian Coast.
It really goes to show just how many places I've still yet to explore just in my own Country, never mind the rest of the World...
Although the sunrise wasn't quite what I had hoped, I've never regretted making the effort to get up early and explore somewhere with my camera - it was a beautiful morning and a beautiful moment - particularly when my cousin who I was with at the time got out his stove and made me some soup :)
